Ideally located between Saint -Tropez and the Verdon Regional National Park, Trans-en-Provence remains a preferred touristic place and the surroundings, with more than 300 sunny days per year offer a lot of outdoor activities such as walking, riding, biking or even hiking in all seasons.

You will be fulfilled by the richness, treasures and variety of our department : from the Mediterranean borders up to the wild mountain spectacular landscapes of the Verdon Grand Canyon (swimming, canyoning and kayaking), from the turquoise blue water of the lake of Sainte Croix to the small typical off-ground villages of the Haut-Var, pittoresque and so rich in history, or even to go for adventure at the discovery of the gigantic rock of Roquebrune.

A light so particular and so specific, smells of scrubland, three colors that strike the eyes : the green, the red/orange and the blue so intense from the sky will make you immediately think of our natural environment composed by the Verdon, the Massif des Maures or the Esterel.

Do not miss the medieval village of Les Arcs-sur-Argens and its "sarrazine" tower, the Thoronet Abbey and its summer live concerts, the villages of Tourtour and Collobrières, the "Chartreuse" and the Verne barrage and also Moustiers Sainte Marie.

Trans-en-Provence belongs to the 16 villages that compose Dracénie : Ampus, Bargemon, Callas, Chateaudouble, Claviers, Draguignan, Figanières, Flayosc, La Motte, Le Muy, Les Arcs-sur-Argens, Lorgues, Montferrat, Taradeau and Vidauban.

Our beaches ...
To stroll and lounge about, at about 30/40 mn you will find the beaches of Fréjus-Saint Raphaël, Sainte Maxime, Port Grimaud and its lakeside city. Saint Tropez, mythical village which seduces and attracts so many artists ... and tourists without forgetting the famous beach of Pampelonne.

Between hiking and swimming, do not miss the famous "Sentier du Littoral" (coastal path) or "Sentier des Douaniers" (customs officers path) located in the Saint Tropez peninsula, along with Cap Taillat, Cap Camarat and its lighthouse and Cap Lardier.
